Week 10th: 1st - Typography

Haha, finally I chose the funny font cauze i'm funny.
Because the assignment was in holiday period, so I made it fun too.
That is ITC SNAP.
A very creative and humorous font which is basically used in cartoon or needed attention headlines.
The font is pretty heave, strong, but it seems that it could jump, fly because of its kid style.
The flash project was pretty simple cauze yeah, kids are simple.

Week 9th: 1st - Safe Sex

Obviously, my texts are only the things that supports the image.
No special idea, just think about love because this is basically begins with Love.
Color: yeah, relax wooden bed color.
Texts: italic cauze it means curves, attraction.

Week 7th: 2nd - Promise

Because I found out secrets that I promise that I must keep it till my wedding day.
Although I break the promise, I love you more, darling. And I know you're too.
Although I break the promise, I know that's a sweet like chocolate break.
Techniques:
Of course, my style, cloud rendering, zigzag and bavel emboss effect.
Dont know why this week for me is a balance week. So yeah, works are there.

Week 7th: 1st - Secrets

A very new feel week, really happy moment that I had with my girlfriend.
Once again, our 6 more years love has been increased more after this moment.
We've both already found out our own secrets and we know that we now love each other much more than before.
Techniques:
Cloud rendering, lightning and zigzag effects on making background.
Script font with windy effect.
A little blurred triangle to absorb "secrets".

Week 6th: 2nd - HDD

A day with a crazy hard disk problem.
First of all, it could not run the OS. I started being angry. Then I decided to reinstall the windows cauze I thought that was software problem .
But it told me that it could not be formatted because the disk is damaged.
And also, gave me an advice which seemed to be very serious that I have to contact the manufacturer for a business issue on buying a new one.
I hated that, and yes, I hated listen to anybody, I tended to find out the solution with myself.
And yes, I solved it by using the HDD-Regenerator software to fix the bad sectors errors after I know that it was the bad sectors problem, not just a rubbish HDD now, and have to buy a new one.
So, simply make this image about all of it.

Week 6th: 1st - Light & Dark

A very happy weekend has just spent with my girlfriend. We gone to DD cinema and watch the "The Seeker" new film.
The film's story is just normal, but it did give me some questionable questions about the light and the dark. The story writer could think of the "light and dark", and I could think that it is about human. Human is the one who create the light and also the dark.
For me, every single human has their own light side and dark side.
No one is perfect, and yes, no one is worst.
So I create this, with the lightning effect technique and playing with some mystic texts.

Week 5th: 2st - Glasses

I wanna talk about glasses because this is the week I have known that I'm short-sighted now.
Wearing glasses make me feel not very comfortable anyway, but I have to wear otherwise things will become more blur later.
When I chose glasses at the shop, didn't know what kind of mood can suit me, finally I chose the black out and white in one.
But if there is one of this one in Vietnam, I will properly try.
I think this can be designed for masquerade because it make people hard to recognize when you wear it. I love the way it designed, it is glasses, but it is not only glasses, it's also mask.

Week 5th: 1st - Piano

Being loved to play piano, I have just finished listening to my friend's piano song which is composed by himself, and I found that the grand piano in his house really really make me addict, so I go to the web and looking for some beautiful one, then oh my god, I found this one.
Well, in public area, unusual design, but I don't think it is designed for non-chinese people.
It makes sense for chinese if it has a shape of a pig because this year is the "pig year".
But even if I have a chance, I will never play on this piano although I'm a chinese. It makes me look like pig. And also, there are not enough notes as the usual one.

Week 4th: 2nd - Dating Idea

Think about Dating, I think about love, I think about red, purple.
Simply idea, so simply done in Web Programming course.
I tend to use dark color because it gives people the warm, private feeling when they come and register for a date instead so many others dating websites use bright color which may let people feel "oh my god, I want to seek partner, but don't tell anybody, ok". Yeah, because bright is spread, and dark is smallize.

Week 4th: 1st - Sound

In life, not everyone else's life, but my life, the thing that I love to absorb is not the thing I see, but is the sound I hear.
Views are actually going to my brain when I see.
But for Sounds, I just do nothing, and Sounds, especially Opera, always go directly to my ears, my body, my heart, my soul. And the only one thing that I can react the feeling when I absorb from Sounds is that I really want to be that Sound element, fly and join those "note" friends (because Sound is a Note, and those Notes make a song. Opera song, always fly into my soul warmly, slowly, sweetly. "Phantom Of The Opera", a film, but really, even if I watch it again without open my eyes, I can still love the film.
Technical:
Using brush tool only to make the background, I swear.

Week 3rd: 2nd - Stealing

Everything happening always has its cause and effect.
Number always starts with 0 and ends with 9.
Stealing does not mean stealing, but means empty, because we always consider the reason and effect and yes, we now, after being stolen, are empty.
Stealing is just a way to put something must be full here to somewhere else.
But the result, poor owners because owner is now empty.
So, empty pepsi poca snake pack represents all about stealing.
But stealing is right or wrong, it only can depends on everyone's mind. There is no in the image.
Do you think that steal someone's thing, or make him becomes empty and you become full, is good? And most of us know the empty feeling, so we know "stealing is wrong".

Week 3rd: 1st - Sex Life of...

A for fun version after class studying about aligning, colors, fonts, white space combination.
Theme colors: yellow, wood, orange, red, and black.
Font: with only one font family but different font members.
The body color gives the meaning of... of course, plants.
A little straight at the left gives a creative feeling instead of too bored, too solid if there is absolute one color background at the back. Don't know why I prefer unbalance things.

Week 2nd: 2st - Laziness

Idea:
Dont know why do i have to play games?
Games seem to be a very important organ in my body.
I cannot stop gaming, but I always try my best on study anytime.
My mind is fullfilled now, i'm thinking about the courses, but i'm also thinking about games.
So the image, i tent to put pattern at back as background and the two balanced words are actually saying to me that "hey, go to study now - hey, game is waiting for you".
Technical:
Played with brush tool, i love brush tool because this is the tool that I can draw anything, anywhere. Just think, and draw what you think.
Obviously, black and white to make contrast and gradient to make balance.

Week 2nd: 1st - Student Diary

During a pretty free weekend because of the beginning of the semester, I've spent some time to play with the student diary design for school and yes, for fun.
Idea:
When first thought of studying at RMIT, I've recalled my time that before coming to RMIT to study. I was lost and felt very bad when I failed the Vietnamese University test.
I looked down and saw all the dirty sand, there was nothing except that.
But after joining the RMIT's Community. I felt happy, really happy because I know I can learn new things, things that I think the Vietnamese university wont have.
RMIT gives me the best, the newest, the biggest knowledge.
I'm walking up on a very bright royal stair to the success.
Technical:
Carefully select and cut the RMIT University logo with feather so that it looks smooth and will not affect the background.
Simply used the "gradient tool" and "bas releif" function to make the background.
Applied "lens flare" function to make the bright light on top of the stair.
Drawn the sand with brush tool. And a strong font for the text with a soft color spread underneath to make contrast.
Just for fun.

No More Traffic

Have just come home, really tired because of the terrible traffic in Vietnam.
Then I think of the car that can fly up to the sky in a news that i saw yesterday.
It is the car "Terrafugia" by a US Company.
I'm wondering why is it manufactured for the american while the velocity is only around 104 km/h, the card would be very popular if it came to Vietnam.
About its appearance, I personally don't like the design very much. The car does not really look like a car, but like a fish. Second, the two wings looks like the two trash bins, and may be too heavy.
Generally, the car is very useful for people who live in Vietnam because of its flyable feature. I love to see the real one in the very near future in Vietnam.

I am who i am

Inspiration: from my Mom and Dad.
From the moment I was born till now, parent always tell and force me to do anything.
For them, I am always a child.
As everyone else, I am trying to upgrade myself, I am trying to study hard, I am trying to try more things. But to my parent, just let me stop all because for them, I am still a child, I still have not enough intelligence to do so.
When I looked at my foot, oh yes, it is still my foot, and always be my foot.
For my parent, "I am a child" is a destiny, i think. And i cannot change that.

The Image: I decided to took a perspective picture of my foot to say that my foot is always my foot, no one can change this.
But the point is that things are not planed or arrange by themselves, or by destiny, we are going to upgrade them, develop them. Maybe from the day I was born till now, i have been wearing sandal. But in the future, i will properly going to wear shoes.

Technical Info: Took the foot picture at night, then brought to Photoshop, cut the foot to a new creation, simply "Render Clouds", "Distort Twirl", then "Blur ZigZag" the black and white back ground.
